COMING TO NICARAGUA?
If you’d like to contribute in another way, and are coming down to Nicaragua for a vacation or surf trip, we openly welcome any and all donations in the form of old clothing, sports equipment, surf apparrel, ding repair kits, surf wax and just about anything else you can think of.
The Sweet Water Fund runs a non-profit surf shop in town that is fueled by donations and is our way of creating funds to keep our programs going. We are always in need of surf apparel to sell in town, and it’s hard to get in these parts of the world. This is a fun and easy way to contribute to the village!

In Latin American coastal towns, known as agua dulce, Sweet water is a local term for fresh water. Fresh water tastes "sweet" compared to salt water. It's rivers are usually the life blood of Latin communities, in which most are built off its fertile banks. Sweet water is the basis for vegetation, growth and life. The Sweet water effect is a representation of movement toward satisfying a hunger of knowledge and good health, an inspirational, positive growth in community, and an improved life for everyone.Board of Directors
